BOOK REVIEW: ATLAS SHRUGGED

" I SWEAR BY MY LIFE AND MY LOVE OF IT THAT I WILL NEVER LIVE FOR THE SAKE OF ANOTHER MAN,NOR ASK ANOTHER MAN TO LIVE FOR MINE"

This is the line that I have picked up from the book and I feel this is perfect for its tagline.

ATLAS SHRUGGED: the greatest of the greatest book I have studied in this life of mine and till this age OF MINE. The other one nearing it's greatness was AlCHEMIST. Though Alchemist is a more emotional one,how ever in one's fight with the dubious self inside him as well as the hypocrisy accepted by the society,I shall name ATLAS SHRUGGED as an indispensable book and its PHILOSOPHY the greatest of all religions though I would not like to compare this book with something as preposterous as religions.

Well the plot of this book is quite simple,however its philosophy is not iff you are amongst those cowards who does evades his responsibility on every important and crucial moment of life.
The sory goes through the line that slowly and gradually the morally corrupt philosophy and the hypocritic politicians armed with the weapon of SOCIALISM start to take over the industrial houses of America and start giving out useless rules so as to control the them. Then finally all the great men of industrial houses give vent to their anger by going on strike and vanishing off the industrial scene suddenly thus leaving New York to the living dead to handle who only plead for their need but evade every responsibility and the politicians who in the garb of their selfless SOCIALISM practice their malevolent deeds.
The plot is simple. But the way it is carried out is not. No wonder that 1069 pages of the book,though sounds lengthy is still justifiable and worth reading it. All the credit goes to the ingenious of Ayn Rand to describe every detail to its justification that this book seems to be a reality rather than a work of fiction.

I spent alot and sacrificed alot for this book,but yes in the words of Ayn Rand they were not sacrifices rather investments I made through my conscious choice.

The whole book about the essence of man and his responsibility and need to think and the desire to live.Do you want to live the way you shuld,the way the greatness inside you permits but you are stagnated by the question as to how,how the peer influence you,how the manipulate you....every answer is in this book,, thus I would say

Every question that has tormented you,every answer that you wanted to question,if these are your needs then the solutions are here.Every dogma you wanted to fight,every success you admired and wanted to achieve,every hurdle you wanted to cross but the question of morality and the sense of duty(the values which itself are questionable as to what is moral and what should be the sense of duty), everything that you admired but because of the society you had to give up,every character that you admired but was forbidden to discuss about that by the society, everything that mattered to you and wanted to express them but was silenced by the social customs,if these are the things to fight then I would say start by this:

Freedom that you admired but was caged by the society,feelings that you wanted to express but was told to shut up by the society,when you did good to people but was wrath and disgust in return, when you wanted to admire greatness and achieve it too but was told to glorify mediocrity...if these are the things that you wish to fight....then

The woman that you loved turned out to be your destroyer,the friend that you trusted turned out to be your betrayer, the pal you shared your secrets with only to be publicly made mockery of,if that has made to no more long humanity and has made ypu a living dead and one of those devilish morons then fight it....begin with this
